Who Are We?
The Cozy Rebel started as a spark—and quickly became a pulse. Artist S. Nix began by asking herself a simple question: What would a space for artists look like-somewhere to learn, make, and see their work come alive in our streets? She then brought the question to the communities around her. The response was immediate: wide-eyed, urgent, alive.
So we set out to build it.
A cozy corner of defiance—where artists can explore, experiment, and rebel without fear.

What Are We Doing?
We've spent months listening, observing, feeling the world shift, and connecting with our communities. But inspiration alone wasn't enough. The time to act was NOW.
So we did-through ART.
In May, THE LOVELUTION by S. Nix came to life and quickly became a vessel for connection. It sparked collaborations with groups like Arts For LA and the Independent Shakespeare Co., helping move art from the hands of the people into the offices of those elected to support our communities.
Through S. Nix's original works-printed on postcards-audiences were invited to handwrite letters to their representatives, urging them to protect artists and arts funding across LA County. Each message was a reminder that the arts aren't a luxury, but part of the very heartbeat of our cities.
By pairing creativity with direct action, we're amplifying our mission louder than ever. And this is just the beginning—because we’re not stopping here.

Where You Come In
We've all been asking-
How can I be of help?
Will it even matter?
Where do I go?
Show up.
Yes it will.
Go where connection lives.
There is joy and healing in places where people are seen and heard.
We are in the process of building out city wide pop-ups for artists of all backgrounds to rest, reveal, and rebel. This is a boots on the ground experience for those who are ready to march with and for their community.
Because doing something is NOT DOING NOTHING.
We have a plan and we want you to be in on it.
